In a move designed to put production and warehousing in close proximity to customers in Europe and the United Kingdom, Inpro Corporation has established Inpro Europe S.R.L. in Orvieto, Italy.
The company recently hired Jonathan Tomlin as its European director of business development. Tomlin is based in Northwich, Cheshire, UK.
The Milwaukee-based company has been active in the European and UK markets since 1997, mainly through the use of distributors. The new operations hub will cut transit time, greatly reduce shipping costs, and expand on the company’s obsessive commitment to protecting buildings and the people who use them.
“We look forward to bringing our production and distribution to Europe to better serve the market,” said Marc Holland, Inpro’s president. “Architects and contractors trust Inpro products world-wide, and our European business unit will bring a level of service to the market that they don’t traditionally receive.”
